Open the can of pizza crust but do not unroll the dough.
Cut the dough log into 9 equal slices.
Place the slices of dough on a baking sheet that has been sprayed with non-stick spray.
Press the dough down with your hands to form into the shape of a football, making sure to pinch together any holes that form around the layers.
Ladle on the pizza sauce.
I like to add 2 layers of cheese, one next to the sauce, and one on top.
Add your desired toppings.
On top of the final cheese layer, use the chives to carefully make the design of the stitching on the football (you may have to use tweezers).
Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for 15 minutes or until lightly starting to brown.
